These are the general rules of the forum. These rules may change at any time. In addition, actions not covered here that we find inappropriate may result in warnings, deleted posts or bannings. While we want all our members to enjoy this board, we cannot tolerate actions that take away that enjoyment from others.

No Spamming! All Spam posts will be deleted and the user may be banned at the discretion of the administrators. You may post a link to your web site in your signature, but you may not otherwise promote it on this site. The posting of adult links, warez sites, or online pharmaceuticals will be grounds for immediate banning.

No talk of piracy. Discussion of illegally copying and/or distributing software and other media is prohibitted on this board. In addition, discussions of theft of services or obtaining services you are not entitled to are not allowed. Posts or threads containing these discussions will be deleted. Users who continue to post this content may be banned. Even if a particular section of this forum does not specifically state it, this rule applies to all areas of this site.

Observe copyrights. Please do not repost entire articles or other texts. While a short description or selected quotes are fine, please provide a link for members to view the entire text. Copyrighted images may only be posted for comparison or review. Do not repost copyrighted graphics.

No foul language. While we employ language filters on this forum, it's possible some words may be currently missing from the list. Use of foul language will not be tolerated. In addition, use of special characters in order to post foul language may result in your post being deleted. Repeat offenses may result in banning.

No Abuse. Abusive posts may result in warnings, deleted posts or bannings at the discretion of the moderators and administrators. Please be civil. While we understand there may be occasional disagreements on the forum, we request you show respect for the opinions of others. In addition, please do not insult those who ask questions or don't know the answers to questions. This is a place of learning and asking questions is a great way to learn. No one should ever feel silly or stupid for not knowing the answers.

Keep your images small. If you link to a personal image (such as on a Photobucket account), please keep the image dimensions to 800 x 600 or less. Larger images cause visitors with lower monitor resolutions to have to scroll left and right to read posts.

Please keep on topic. While occasional side comments are not a problem, please avoid posting blatently off-topic comments. If you have a question that would be covered by this board, please located the appropriate forum to post in. You'll find the responses will be quicker and more accurate that way.

Avoid spoilers. Avoid posting plot spoilers except where the topic specifically states spoilers are allowed.

Good things come to those who help out. Occasionally, we evaluate members for moderator positions in areas where they have been especially helpful and informative. If we feel you would be an asset to the moderating team, we may approach you about becoming one.
